The best bars and restaurants of Tel Aviv
By Alon Ben Joseph | Jeweller & owner | Ace Jewelers
βTel Aviv is one of my favourite cities. When I go, I often stay at Hotel The Norman. It is centrally located and surrounded by white Bauhaus buildings. From the roof terrace with amazing swimming pool you can admire the city.β

Where to eat
M25
A butcher and restaurant in one, with amazing cuts of perfectly prepared meat.
WEISS
Contemporary dishes with local influences are served beautifully in a fine dining setting. The deserts are simply unbelievable.
HIBA
Stunningly creative cooking in an inspiring environment. The architecture and design fit the contemporary yet organic feel of the dishes perfectly.
OCD
Despite being open for many years now, this restaurantβs unique tasting menu keeps pulling guests in from far and wide, with a 6-month waiting list for reservations. It is absolutely worth it: they only serve about 20 people a night, so they are able to apply an incredible amount of finesse and detail - in food and service.
MEAT BAR / NEXT DOOR
The best steak in Tel Aviv, complemented by nice bottles of bubbles and delectable snacks.
PEREH
Smaller portions than youβre used to in a traditional Tel Aviv restaurant, but absolutely delicious, with truly unique flavours. Their homemade bread is a big pride, and for good reason.
Where to go for a drink
CAFELIX
A great local coffee chain with three locations. This is the place to go for more specialized brews of black coffee such as filter and aeropress.
WAYCUP COFFEE
Another great chain with airy interiors and a great variety of coffee specialities.
PAPUA CAFE
Delicious coffee and pastries in a sauna-like interior, conveniently located near Geula beach.
